Current Agency Needs
The Northeast Texas Children's Museum is currently undergoing a campaign to raise funds for a new building in Commerce, TX. The Children's Museum has leased an old cafeteria built in 1964 from Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMUC) over ten years, but a new facility is needed to continue providing services to children in the area. The current building is old and in need of repair that could cost more than building a new home. Additionally, while many of our exhibits are simply in need of updating, we also require completely new exhibits to replace those that are rundown. A new building and exhibits can cost as much as $3,000,000. It is our goal to raise this money through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and corporations.
