G.E.M.S. is Christ-centered organization designed to positively impact and influence the developmental phases of girls with educational interventions, mentoring, and socio-cultural interventions that help them create realistic expectations and detailed strategies for rewarding lives. Mentoring is a proven strategy for positive youth development. Youth are more likely to succeed in life when they have additional support of a caring, consistent adult mentor. GEMS assist girls with using SMART strategies to establish, develop, etc, attitudes, behaviors, and habits that will help them think, envision, as well as plan futures that can ensure gainful employment and earning potential that will best serve their families, communities, and professional settings.
Our Needs
The agency currently needs a learning facility to better serve the girls with all the educational resources in-house for a better learning experience with the comfort of being with their mentor.
Mission
To positively impact, influence and develop our educational programs and mentoring activities for all girls in Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin County communities.
