Frisco Moms Care evolved from a group of women with the heart to serve the community. They realized the amount of families living in poverty, trapped in abusive homes, or living in their cars was larger than anyone suspected in a seemingly affluent area. As they served, it was quickly obvious that the needs around them were bigger than anyone could fill alone, and the idea of Frisco Moms Care (FMC) was born and formed in 2015.

We provide financial assistance, holiday meals, new and gently used clothing and household items, and emergency assistance to qualifying struggling families. Additionally, every year we provide holiday gifts for children, newborn to 18 years old. With the funds we raise through events such as this we are able to assist our families when financial needs arise that fall outside of our projects, such as help with paying bills or purchasing a new car seat for a growing child. This is an annually renewing benefit that families can utilize on an emergency basis. We work directly with school counselors and social workers to help not only identify the families in need, but to also to make sure we can assist them in a way that will have longer lasting benefits.

Outside of our programs that support struggling families we have other community engagement projects that allow for women to care and support each other and the community such as Valentine's Day Sweetheart (benefiting local mothers who have been recently widowed or lost a child), Mother's Day (gift baskets of comfort to mothers of pediatric patients in local hospitals), and appreciation projects (benefitting healthcare, first responders, and teachers).

Our Needs

Over the last year Frisco Moms Care has grown tremendously and helped over a thousand individuals with clothing, emergency food boxes and hygiene, and utility bill assistance. We would love to be able to continue the hard work in our community and to never have to turn away a family that qualifies. This is largely dependent on the funds we are able to raise. So we thank you for taking the time to look at our page and to consider giving to our organization. Thank you for joining us in this important endeavor!
