Dogs of Hilltown

A nonprofit organization

Dogs of Hilltown is a rescue group that not only provides adoption support to former street dogs but we are also committed to ending the street dog population.

We firmly believe the only way to end the cycle of unwanted dogs is to start with medical outreach, owner education and spay & neuter efforts.
Dogs of Hilltown is an all volunteer based nonprofit in the North Dallas area. We are passionate about our dogs and community.

Our Needs

Our goal for the rest of 2019 and 2020 is at LEAST four outreach Spay & Neuters a month.
Our medical checkup for an outreach dog consists of:
Spay or Neuter
Full Vaccinations
Fecal Exam (Medications)
Wellness Check
This medical checkup per dog reaches about $200 per dog (taking into consideration the weight of the dog).

That is about $800 a month devoted to just our outreach program's free spay and neuters.

We rely on the donations that come from North Texas Giving Day to support this very necessary program for the following calendar year.

Our outreach program is unique and we know it is a big undertaking but we firmly believe that by getting these dogs spayed or neutered we are preventing so many dogs from ending up in the shelter or running the street.

Mission

Dogs of Hilltown is committed to reducing the street dog population by providing community outreach programs and adoption support to abandoned dogs.
