The DFW-CHW Association strives to carry out it's vision of advocating for the CHW profession in health care; providing educational opportunities and professional development for both CHWs and instructors; identifying community resources to assist CHWs in their outreach and education efforts; serving as a resource for employment opportunities; and providing opportunities to network with other CHWs across the DFW metroplex to form a supportive environment.
In addition to using it's funds to support the CHW profession by carrying out our vision, members of the DFW-CHW Association use their skills and community relationships to improve the health of our communities.
The Mission of the DFW-CHW Association is to unite CHWs and CHW Instructors for professional development and community outreach.
