Our goal at Where The Heart Is Furniture Bank is to provide families in need throughout Tarrant County with home furnishings to make their new house a home. We will accomplish this through referrals from local partner agencies, such as, domestic violence shelters, refugee centers, veterans services, transitional living facilities, and homeless shelters.
Why are we doing this? Everyone should have a bed to sleep in. Families should have a table to gather around for meals and share stories about their day. The families we are serving are starting over. Starting over is scary, it's also very expensive. We will be helping to ease some of that burden to help give them the best start possible.
Capital Campaign
At Where The Heart Is Furniture Bank we collect new and gently used furniture for distribution to families transitioning out of homelessness or displacement in Tarrant County.
