We offer an avenue for young people to learn not only about music and instruments, we help develop young people in their most empowered version of their Self.
We are a great part of the Bonham High School Experience and work within our small town community to make it a safe, great place to grow and learn.
We start providing music eduation as early as grade 6 and extend through High School, We have Band trips every two years where we can go perform and see other parts of this great country we are a part of....
May 2018 we took 38 band members with 6 Adults to Colorado Springs. June 2020 We are set to travel to Branson Missouri to perform and have some fun too. The Band helps young people stress the importance of trying everything and learning conficence, teamwork, respect and diversity.
We are a Parent Volunteer for High School Band Students, We also help with junior high and grade 6 Band students...
The Bonham Band Boosters exist to provide additional resources above and beyond the school budget for all students in the Bonham ISD Band Program. We assist with student meals at competitions, large equipment acquisition, supplement musical educational lessons and clinics, and provide scholarships to graduating senior band members seeking a post-secondary education.
