Mission

It is the mission of Ben Milam PTO to support our students and teaching staff with resources that are not directly provided by the school district. We provide special opportunities for our students' families to participate in their children's learning, and to design community service experiences for all our faculty, staff and students. We plan activities for the students that are both fun and educational. We work with teachers to ensure that they have what they need in order to teach the students to be independent and successful. Last year, we were able to purchase new audio books and seating for our Dyslexia Interventionist, as well as a new computer and color printer for our Dual language students in second grade. This year, we would like to focus on getting new recess and after school play equipment, such as balls, games and other fun activities. We would also like to help supplement our new Social Emotional Learning Center that is run by our school counselor.
