JUNIOR LEAGUE OF DALLAS INC

A nonprofit organization

For over 100 years, the Junior League of Dallas has provided trained volunteers and financial support to nonprofit organizations throughout the City of Dallas and Dallas County areas. Founded with 40 members in 1922, JLD has grown exponentially and so has our impact.

Today, JLD’s 4,300 members represent a diverse set of perspectives, professional backgrounds, and experiences. Through the years, our members have founded, led, and supported some of the most impactful institutions in our city, so for just about any Dallas institution that you can name, a JLD member was likely an integral part of making it what it is today. That’s what JLD does: we raise leaders that deeply shape our community.

After celebrating our Centennial last year, we are now looking forward to our next hundred years. As we have evolved as an organization, so have the critical needs of our community.  We look forward to continuing to exploring new ways to address these needs and grow our impact.

In 2022 – 2023, we will continue to provide over 100,000 hours of uncompensated volunteer hours to the community and hope to to give over $1 million of funding to the Dallas community.  Your support on North Texas Giving Day is essential for us - JLD can only do its work with supporters like you.
