Goals of the Community ISD Education Foundation
• Provide a continuous source of funds with gifts received from individuals, Corporations, businesses, trusts and investments.
• Promote student growth and excellence through enrichment programs and activities.
• Support and recognize creativity among educators through unique growth opportunities and providing resources for innovative teaching ideas.
• Motivate parents, alumni and community to become directly involved in education.
Mission
Braving the way for educators & students in Community Independent School District by enhancing education through grants, scholarships and support of district initiatives.
The Foundation was created to support excellence in education by establishing and distributing supplemental funds in designated program areas and supporting innovative instruction identified by CISD for which tax dollars are not available. Funding does not replace or alter use of funds from traditional tax-base sources. All contributions stay in Community ISD and are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
