CAN YOU HELP ROCKY?

Rocky showed up on a country road several months ago.  He actually showed up in our driveway!  He was skinny, dirty, full of fleas, very friendly and tested strong positive for heartworms. Heartworms can be very deadly if not treated.  He had a microchip but the owner said she gave away but did not know who to and she said she could not take him back.

We took him in for his basic shots and straight to a local groomer/boarding facility who was ready to help him! 

Two days before his neuter date he had a seizure which we did not know what caused it.  They ran bloodwork before surgery and he had another seizure although the bloodwork showed he had no issues. The surgery was postponed.  We still are unsure what caused the 2 seizures.  He is still taking seizure meds but may be weaned off soon.

We were able to get his neuter and he is in the heartworm treatment process now. 

We are a small rescue so vetting costs for Rocky have put a strain on our finances. 

He has been in boarding for 3 months.  Luckily, 2 weeks ago he was able to go into a foster home.  His bills have surpassed 1,400.00.

He is such a happy guy and just loves all dogs and all people.  Plus, he loves kids! 

We know Rocky will be a healthy boy soon after his treatment and will go back for a recheck in 6 months.
