Our programs ensure our All-Stars have access to caring mentors, opportunities, and resources that empower them to succeed in school and life.

We firmly believe that a child's access to critical, success-driving resources, like quality education and enrichment, should never be determined by their zip code, race/ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. 

This is why we remain dedicated to helping the students who need us most by providing comprehensive programming to under-resourced youth at no cost. The impact of the resources and opportunities our services offer are even more critical when we consider:

-In Dallas County alone, over 30,000 youth go home unsupervised when the bell rings. Further, 100,000 youth are without any after-school enrichment their parents say they need. 

-By age 12, a child from a low socioeconomic background has spent an estimated 6,000 fewer hours of enrichment learning than a peer from an affluent household (ExpandED Schools).

-A positive connection with a youth development worker is associated with a 67% reduction in high school dropout rates (America’s Promise Alliance, 2014). However, 1 in 3 young people will grow up without this critical asset
