With black mothers dying in Texas at a 3-4x higher rate than their white counterparts, with black babies suffering from low birth weight, with LatinX parents reporting more barriers to quality care than their counterparts, and with the professionals who serve them being more divided than ever on a multitude of issues, it is more important than ever to facilitate bridge building.
Our programs and services include a birth & parenting directory, inclusive sex education, monthly meet-ups for unpacking stress and trauma, parenting workshops, and mobile mental health clinics (which have now gone virtual!)
We need your support in order to fulfill our mission and to build bridges in the interest of achieving birth justice for marginalized communities across Texas.
