The work of the Friends of the Bath House is focused around engaging more people with arts and culture - making it approachable, yet maintaining high quality standards. Both the visual and performing arts are recognized for their significant contributions to the arts community of the Dallas area.

Our Needs

We intend to further development and community programs at Dallas' "Jewel Box at White Rock Lake." Free program and events will be funded using hands-on art activities for adults to promote the Bath House and increase awareness of the activities available. Theatrical performance forums, fun learning activities for kids, and sunset painting classes just begin to illustrate how the Bath House will continue flourishing in its commitment to sharing the arts with our Dallas community. A successful music festival, Lake-a-Palooza!, had its debut in 2017 and has been one of our more popular offerings since.

Mission

The Mission of the Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center is to foster community support for preservation of the Landmark building, support programming at the Bath House Cultural Center, and raise awareness of both in local communities and throughout Dallas.

Needs

The Friends provide volunteers for the activities at the Bath House Cultural Center. They host events, provide advocacy for both the Bath House Cultural Center and the Arts in East Dallas. We need volunteers and Board Members. To find out more visit our website.
