There is no timeline or set pathway for a grief journey.
Those who experience the loss of a loved one long for friends and colleagues to understand the intensity of the pain, the constant yearning to be with their loved one, the lingering sorrow, and the difficulty of celebrating joys. We seek to increase awareness of the grief process and provide practical ways to be a presence of compassion.
We provide opportunities for comfort and hope to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Your donation supports our partnerships with local organizations to offer in-person and online grief support programs.
The Faith & Grief Gathering is our cornerstone program, a monthly volunteer-led support gathering program offered locally and online at no cost to the participants. We also certify grief educators to lead The Faith & Grief Workshop and weekend getaway retreats, which we offer three in Texas.
Your donation impacts those we serve and help us meet these needs for our organization:
Provide for the expansion of grief education programs in new communities
Underwriting grief support gatherings, workshops, and retreats
Support for the new Spanish language grief programs
Sustaining our current staff and administrative needs

Equity Statement
As a grief support organization, we provide opportunities for comfort & hope for all who have experienced the death of a loved one. We recognize that an individual's experiences in grief and ones' responses to those experiences are their own. Those experiences and responses in grief are influenced by race, gender, class, sexuality, faith, ability, and/or other aspects of identity of the person who is grieving. With humility and respect, we recognize and validate each individual's experience as they share their grief journey with us.
We cultivate a multi-faith, diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture in our organization and in our grief support programming.
We create safe spaces that are intentional, equitable and considerate of the diverse needs of different people as they grieve.
We cultivate supportive resources for those who are grieving, being mindful of origins of the content and source material.
