Tarrant County Bar Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Bar Foundation's projects include providing education to the public about their rights and responsibilities under the law through projects like LegalLine, the Elder Law Handbook, and the People's Law School.

The Bar Foundation also endeavors to provide free legal assistance and education to veterans, the indigent, and working poor by connecting them with volunteers from the legal community. With support from the Bar Association, the Bar Foundation supports two pro bono legal programs: Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans - Tarrant County Chapter (TLTV) and Tarrant County Volunteer Attorney Services (TVAS). TLTV and TVAS have held free legal clinics at community organizations throughout Tarrant County, and their volunteers have assisted hundreds of low income individuals with free legal advice or information.
