One Hundred Men (100 Men) is a non-profit organization created to help men of all ages get a restart on life to develop strong life coping skills. This organization is focused on helping men take control of their lives and develop professionally, personally, and socially to better prepare them for life's challenges. The ultimate goal is to enroll 100 men in 100 workshops over a 12 month period.
ONE HUNDRED MEN’S mission is to provide workshops, seminars, and quality life skill training that promotes a healthy and socially aware lifestyle for men of all ages and backgrounds. Participants include men on probation or justice-involved, parolees, young adults, and veterans from underserved communities.
The purpose is to help men heal and awaken to their true potential. 100 Men will host life-changing personal development programs that will educate men on what it means to be a man.
ONE HUNDRED MEN offers a 12-month program for men of all ages and backgrounds. Each cohort includes 100 workshops, seminars, and conferences with live speaker engagements. Length of each session varies from a 30-minute mentorship session to an 8-hour conference in partnership with other community organizations and partners.
Program materials include:
• Access to mentors and speakers
• Printed course materials
• Access to discounted/reduced financial planning
• Access to discounted/reduced technology, licenses, and subscriptions
• 100 workshops, seminars, and conferences over 12 months
• In-person site visits with employers, companies, and organizations
• Guided tours of major corporations with access to employment opportunities
• Community resource fairs
Although the training is free to participants, the cost per trainee is $750.
Approximately 147,000 males are incarcerated in the United States prison systems in 2022. This number, approximately 92% of all incarcerated individuals in the country, is staggering. One Hundred Men is on a mission to help address the systemic barriers and challenges facing men in society. Through the 12-month program, 100 men will have an opportunity to a make better decisions and change their lives through live workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Each dollar raised goes to helping lift men out of poverty and onto a path to promise and opportunity.
