We are a county-wide group of social service agencies, healthcare providers, educators, city and municipal governments, first responders, faith-based organizations, corporate partners, and other advocates. We aim to put an end to homelessness in Collin County, and to serve as a successful model for other communities to do the same.
We welcome all interested agencies, groups, businesses, and individuals to join the Coalition and attend our monthly meetings. If you have an interest in assisting our homeless neighbors please come and join with us. There are no Membership Fees to join the Coalition. However, the benefits of collaboration with like minded individuals to support this effort can be priceless.
As of August 1, 2022 there are ~150 organizations and nearly 500 individuals who make up the coalition who are anxious and available to team with you in this effort. We meet the first Thursday morning of every month at the Parish Office of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Plano (1105 W. 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75075). We also maintain an email list for the dissemination of materials, contacts, funding opportunities, and other information that supports our members in accomplishing their mission(s).
We address homelessness in Collin County through advocacy, collaborative responses, and coordinated efforts. We provide information, referrals, and connections, and we work to bring awareness to the struggles of our neighbors and friends who are experiencing homelessness, and find solutions that strengthen our community.
We solicit financial donations to help defray the costs of our ongoing outreach, advocacy and education efforts, including the expenses associated with our Annual Summit on Homelessness, which is open to the public.
